Ari Walker is a former owner of Baroness Wines, which he grew to be the largest independent alcohol beverage distributor in the state of Colorado. Prior to the formation of IBG, Walker served as president of Nexus Brands, LLC.
Walker has been a business leader for more than twenty years. He also brings long experience in all aspects of alcohol beverage to IBG including production, compliance, quality management, sales leadership and marketing.
BRETT ZIMMERMAN, MASTER SOMMELIER

Master Sommelier Brett Zimmerman graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Business Administration. He spent more than 16 years as a sommelier at world-renowned restaurants, including Chicago’s Charlie Trotter’s, San Francisco’s Aqua, and Boulder’s Mateo. He also has significant distribution experience with Southern Wine and Spirits, having served as the company’s general manager of the American fine wine division for the western region.
Zimmerman, one of fewer than 300 people worldwide to have earned the Master Sommelier distinction, currently combines his knowledge of fine wine and passion for customer service at the Boulder Wine Merchant, where his clients enjoy an unparalleled experience.

Dex McCreary has extensive experience in the wine, beer and spirits industry; he most recently served as director of adult beverages for Southeastern Grocers. Prior to that, he held positions as director of wine, beer & spirits for Fresh Market; divisional merchandise manager for adult beverages at Walgreens; sr. director of merchandising for wine, beer and spirits at Sam’s Club; national wine buyer for Walmart; national account manager for Beam Global Spirits & Wine; national-regional account manager for Vincor USA; and beer, wine and spirits buyer for Albertsons. In 2008, he was named one of Food & Wine’s “Three Most Influential People in Wine Retailing.”

Upon graduation from The College of the Holy Cross, Mickey Deehan was hired by E&J Gallo and soon after was promoted into their international program, living in Europe and Australia for a combined five years. After working at E&J Gallo, he joined Constellation Brands where he was a regional manager for five years and a division vice president for another eight years. After 20 years with Gallo and Constellation, Mr. Deehan for the next eight years became a national sales manager for brands like Liberty School, Treana, Troublemaker, Meiomi and business development consultant for Josh Cellars.
