Chief Executive Officer

Leading IBG is our Chief Executive Officer, Oren Lewin. Oren has 30 years of experience with consumer-packaged goods companies, including 20 years holding executive-level positions in the wine industry.

Oren has helped transform a number of wine companies, most recently as President of Peju Winery in Napa Valley, and prior to that as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Marketing for WX Brands. His background also includes stints at Constellation Brands, Beringer, Clorox, and Nabisco.

Oren holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Duke University and an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina. He enjoys golf, hiking, travel, food, and wine, especially when doing those things with his wife, Vickie.

Chief Financial Officer

A veteran of driving financial results for growing organizations, Allen has 30+ years of finance and accounting experience, including oversight of human resources and risk management for private and public companies.

Allen holds a B.A. in Economics from University of California at Santa Barbara. He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and streaming audio help tips online.

SVP, Operations

Ben joined IBG in 2019 and brings 25+ years of food and beverage experience to the company with extensive experience in shipping, production, distribution, and sales. Just prior to IBG, Ben was General Manager of Scott Paul Wines for five years. He currently oversees all IBG operations.

Ben holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Washington. Ben and his family live in Oregon and enjoy gardening, skiing, all things soccer, and pretty much anything that is outside.

VP, Global Sales

Michael joined IBG in October 2023. With over 19 years in the wine industry, Michael has held positions with a large distributor in California as well as numerous executive-level roles as a supplier. Most recently, he spent six years as head of sales for Peju Winery in Napa Valley. Collectively, these experiences have prepared him for his role leading the IBG Sales team.

Michael holds a B.A. in International Relations and Affairs from Santa Clara University. He enjoys travel, going to live music concerts, playing music, wine, and whiskey, and spending time with his wife Karen and son Shane.

Chief Winemaker

Julia is the Chief Winemaker for all of IBG’s wines, including Duck Pond Cellars, Rascal and Lifevine.

As part of the fifth generation on her family’s century farm, Julia has deep roots in the Willamette Valley wine industry. Her work in viticulture began at the tender age of seven, learning organic viticulture from her father at the Cattrall Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills.

Julia began crafting Duck Pond Cellars wines with a mission to preserve and uphold the beauty and legacy of Oregon’s esteemed wines. Her beautifully crafted wines have earned many 90+ point scores by key wine industry opinion leaders.

Julia earned a degree in Anthropology from Reed College with a thesis on viticultural practices in Burgundy. When not crafting delicious wines, Julia enjoys exploring Oregon’s forests and rivers with her rescue dog, Rosie, caring for a menagerie of farm animals, and putting the finishing touches on the home she and her sister built with their father on the farm.
